Airing on CMT Music (CMT’s 24-hour channel) the week of 11/29
For Immediate Release
Nashville, TN – November 22, 2021 – Country Artist / Songwriter Jillian Cardarelli releases the Official Music Video for her new single “Dropped,” available now on YouTube and all streaming platforms. The music video, produced by Dusty Dale Barker with VAYLL, will also begin airing on CMT Music (CMT's 24-hour music channel) the week of 11/29.
The single was written by Kassi Ashton, Johnny Dibb and Emily Landis and produced by award-winning female producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Alex Kline.
The sultry video highlights lyrics such as “Like a bad habit, baby, I dropped you,” as Cardarelli walks through the character's home dropping precious items.
"This was such a fun video to make," said Cardarelli. "When you get to take on the lyrics of a song and act them out, it's just pure fun." Cardarelli goes on to describes the new single as a fun, sassy take on knowing when to "leave well enough alone" when a relationship is over. Cardarelli says the song exudes confidence, both melodically and lyrically.
This is Cardarelli’s follow up to her popular single “If You Had a Heart” that was released earlier this year – all part of her much anticipated debut EP that is scheduled to release in the Spring 2022.
“Dropped” is available now on Spotify, Pandora, Apple Music and anywhere you stream music. The Official Music Video for “Dropped” is available on her YouTube Channel and on CMT Music (CMT's 24-hour music channel) the week of 11/29.
