“NASH Icon and the entire Cumulus Radio team is so excited to participate in the St. Patrick’s Music City Run, “said Lisa Manning. “I hope you will join me and my beloved pups as I’ll serve as the Official Grand Marshal for the Lucky Dog 1-Mile Wag ‘n’ Walk this weekend to support rescue dogs in need.”
Rising country music artist Erin Kinsey will sing the National Anthem on race day. Erin Kinsey is a gifted songwriter, artist and highly accomplished musician, playing seven instruments. For the last several years, this Texas native has been wowing audiences in Texas, Music City and beyond, headlining noteworthy venues such as Love and War in Texas, The Gaylord Texan, CMA Fest, The Dallas International Film Festival and the C2C Festival in London, England. In 2017, Erin Kinsey opened for Hunter Hayes during the St. Jude Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Concert at Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville. She can also be seen playing songwriter rounds at the historic Bluebird Café and The Listening Room Cafe.
“We are thrilled with the registration numbers thus far and expect to see even more of a jump over the next week,” said Faye Yates, Owner/Director of Team Magic. “We are also delighted to have Lisa Manning from NASH Icon 95.5 FM on board to be our Grand Marshal for the Lucky Dog 1-Mile Wag ‘n’ Walk and Erin Kinsey to sing the national anthem. Team Magic took over management and race production of this event in 2015 and the organization is excited to continue this downtown Nashville tradition while supporting a worthwhile charity partner like PEDIGREE Foundation. The course will take runners along the banks of the winding Cumberland River that flows through and around downtown Nashville.
